Collection: 309 Honey

309 Honey (Coromandel, NZ)

Family-run Beginnings
Founded roughly 20 years ago, 309 Honey began when Andrew and Sue Williams purchased 60 acres along the remote 309 Road—so named for the gravel track that connects both sides of the Coromandel Peninsula. The property came with around 150 beehives and the business grew from there, still guided by that original philosophy of producing the best honey possible.

Hive-to-Jar Integrity
At 309 Honey, everything happens on-site—harvest, extraction, and packaging all take place on their property. They keep things raw, unpasteurized, and only coarse-filtered, preserving nutrients, enzymes, and propolis for a true “from the hive” taste.

Authentic & Tested Mānuka
Their Mānuka honey range is rigorously lab-tested for MGO (methylglyoxal) levels and meets the highest MPI standards.  Depending on the MGO rating, customers can choose honeys geared for everyday use, wellness boosting, or even topical applications like burns or skincare.

Range of Honey Varieties

  • Pōhutukawa Honey: Smooth, creamy, with a subtle salty finish—ideal in tea or on a cheese board.
